The Ithaca Pan Asian American Film Festival helps make up for this lack of representation by allowing audiences to see different storylines of Asian-Americans and how their ethnicities shape their lives.

The first official teaser trailer for Star wars: Rogue One just dropped and tells the story of resistance fighters who unite to steal plans to the dreaded Death Star. The standalone Star Wars movie will take place before the events of A New Hope and has a cast including Asian American actors; Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen and Riz Ahmed.

ESPN Launches ‘Fresh Off The Bench,’ Podcast Hosted By Asian Americans

Prim Siripipat, an anchor for ESPN, and Ohm Youngmisuk, who works as an analyst covering the NBA and NFL in New York, are both Thai American. They just launched their first podcast together for the network. ”Fresh Off the Bench” is ESPN’s first all Asian hosted podcast.
